The Chesapeake Bay and
its tributaries are rich and endlessly fascinating in its flora and fauna.
Sea kayaking is a good way to explore the history and environment of the Chesapeake
Bay and its tributaries including the Potomac, Patuxent, Wye, and Anacostia.
My events always result in external and internal explorations. The external
exploration aspects of our events allow individuals to explore the ecology
and history of locations close to where they live and work. The internal exploration
aspects have much to do with successfully encountering new challenges and
to discover different sorts of relationships among ourselves and with our
environment.
I love sea kayaking, am safety conscious, and respect the environment. I also
find sea kayaking to be a way to nurture our meditative and spiritual lives.
Sea kayaking in this area is also an experience that can lead to self discovery
and an appreciation for one's place in the universe.
I make a special effort
to help you understand the environment that you are paddling through.
My programs are designed to introduce individuals, groups, and families to
sea kayaking to the waters of the Washington area. Participants don't have
to go far to experience solitude, a larger connectedness, nature, and history.
